Martin Barre Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
"And If Our God Is For Us" - WOW!
The show itself was simply amazing once it started. In fact, it seemed to go by extremely quick. There were folks who had been waiting in line to get a "first come, first served" seat and it ended up being a "free for all" as people ran to the front, pushing ahead so they were in the front row first. The Scott Trade Center here in St. Louis has a little work to do to be more helpful for those who get General Admission tickets though. I was one of the first in line and if it wasn't for my friend who was there to run for our seats, I would have been sitting in the last row on the floor. Christy Nockels was simply incredible too. Martin Barre and the whole band really rocked through the night. They should have been escorted in single file as they were lined up outside the doors. Louie came on mid-way through the concert and gave a talk that was literally "out of this world". Loved the show, but really disliked the crowd control and set up of the General Admission section. He put sounds from the universe together as all of creation sang praises...so impactful and powerful. There was this family of 4 who ended up being split up because others wouldn't let them all seat together to enjoy the "family night out". They sang hit after hit and together, we worshiped our God. So much fun!
